
Carmen Fenechiu is a lecturer at the Classics Department of Babeș-Bolyai University, Cluj.
She received her BA in Classics, and her MA and PhD in ancient history from the Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj.
Research interests
Carmen has been doing research in Latin literature and epigraphy.
She has published several articles on the inscriptions of Dacia romana.
Her book entitled La notion de numen dans les textes littéraires et épigraphiques (Cluj: Mega) was published in 2008.
Carmen is a member of CODEX project “Medieval Books in the Early Modern Period: The Case of Cluj in the Sixteenth and Seventeenth Centuries” (UEFISCDI PN-IV-P1-PCE-2023-0465), and is cataloguing medieval manuscript fragments on Fragmentarium.
