Dr Monica Fekete is an Associate Professor of Medieval and Renaissance Italian literature at the Babeș-Bolyai University, and vice dean of the Faculty of Letters.
She obtained her PhD from the University of Cluj, and was a doctoral fellow of the Accademia di Romania in Rome.
She is a knight of the Ordine della Stella d’Italia.

Dr Monica Fekete is specialised in medieval and Renaissance Italian literature. She is also interested in the exchanges between Italy and Transylvania in the Middle Ages and in the early modern period.
