On 12-18 July 2026, CODEX hosted an international summer school in Cluj.
Eight tutors from the National Széchenyi Library in Budapest, UBB Cluj, Institut de Recherche et d’Histoire des Textes in Paris, The Charles University of Prague and the Institute for Medieval Studies of the Austrian Academy of Sciences in Vienna, and sixteen students from Cambridge, Cluj, Dublin, Paris, Prague, and Vienna spent a week in Cluj and Alba Iulia studying manuscripts and early modern prints.
The summer school was generously sponsored by the cluster of excellence “EurAsia: Eurasian Transformations“, Vienna, represented by Dr Pavlina Rychterová.
