Andrei Crișan is assistant professor of Old English at the Faculty of Letters, Babeș-Bolyai University.

Andrei Crișan is assistant professor of Old English at the Faculty of Letters, Babeș-Bolyai University.
Andrei wrote a BA dissertation entitled “Conquering the Angelcynn: A Discussion of Anglo-Saxon Identity, Heroic Vocabulary and Germanic Ideals”, an MA thesis on Wulfstan’s Institutes of Polity, which he also translated into Romanian, and is currently completing a PhD thesis on Cambridge, Corpus Christi College MS 201.
In 2020-2021, he attended the European Diploma of Medieval Studies (DEEM), organised in Rome by the Fédération Internationale des Instituts d’Études Médiévales (FIDEM).
Andrei was a member of the FRAGMED project, and is currently on the team of our new project (‘Medieval Books in the Early Modern Period: The Case of Cluj in the Sixteenth and Seventeenth Centuries’).
