
Teodora Sava has a BA in English from UBB, and an MA in medieval studies from the University of Poitiers. She is a PhD student at the Babeș-Bolyai University of Cluj.
Research interests
Teodora Sava is interested in medieval predication.
Her MA dissertation, entitled “Jacob’s Well, les Lollards et les sacrements” was directed by Proffesors Stephen Morrison and Pierre-Marie Joris at the University of Poitiers.
Her PhD project at UBB Cluj is entitled: “Preaching the Coming of Christ in Medieval England: an Edition and Study of the Advent and Christmas Sermons from the Middle English Filius Matris Collection”. It involves an edition of sermons from several Middle English manuscripts (chiefly London, The British Library, Royal MS 18 A 17, and Harley MS 2276).
In 2025, Teodora attended the Diplôme Européen d’Études Médiévales (DEEM) programme in Rome. She also attended courses and summer schools in Florence, Vienna, and Cluj.
She gave papers to conferences organised in Prague, Rome, and Nijmegen.
