12-18 July 2026: CODEX hosts International Summer School in the History of the Book

On 12-18 July 2026, CODEX is hosting an international summer school in Cluj.

Eight tutors from Budapest, Cluj, Paris, Prague and Vienna, and sixteen students from Cambridge, Cluj, Dublin, Paris, Prague, and Vienna are spending a week in Cluj and Alba Iulia studying medieval manuscripts and early modern printed books. The summer school is generously sponsored by the cluster of excellence “EurAsia: Eurasian Transformations“, Vienna, represented by Dr Pavlina Rychterová.
